Novel Coronavirus (2019 n-CoV) Posted on 29 Nov 2021

If you are experiencing a new continuous cough, fever or a change or absence in your sense of taste or smell we are asking you to NOT COME TO THE MEDICAL CENTRE.

Instead please visit or contact NHS 111 for advice.

Calling the GP directly is only necessary if you have:

  • an existing health condition
  • problems with your immune system
  • very serious symptoms

To help prevent potential spread of infection we are advising that if you feel you need to see a GP you phone the Medical Centre on 028 90467630. When you ring us our staff will ask you some questions to determine your condition. Some of these questions may include if you have a temperature or cough. Please answer these questions as fully as possible. These questions help us to determine the best action to take but also helps protect other vulnerable patients and our staff.

If you need a repeat prescription please call the dedicated repeat prescription number on 028 90467646.

If you already have an appointment and are not experiencing cough or fever please attend as normal. When you get to the Medical Centre you will see some changes to layout and instructions regarding social distancing and hygeine. Please follow these instructions. If you are unable to attend your appointment or feel you no longer need it please let us know by phoning 028 90467630 as early as possible. Other patients may be able to use an appointment you are unable to.
